In Riviera Nayarit, luxury is our magic – the same magic that you selected at the beginning of

2012 through the popular Travelers’ Choice Awards, which are published every year by the

specialized travel website TripAdvisor, based on the reviews and ratings provided by its users on

properties around the world.

Marival Residences & World Spa, located in Nuevo Vallarta, was the best-ranking hotel in Riviera

Nayarit, as it ranked second in the listing of the Best 25 All-Inclusive Hotels in the World, and of

course, ranked #1 in the listing of All Inclusive Hotels in Mexico. Vallarta Palace, also located in

Nuevo Vallarta, also was included in this list.

St. Regis Punta Mita took the first place among the top 25 Luxury Hotels in Mexico, and this

listing also included Villa La Estancia in Flamingos, and Hotel Cinco in Punta de Mita. These

three hotels also were listed among the top 25 Best Hotels with Spa in Mexico, a listing that also

included Villa del Palmar Flamingos.

However, the real surprise came after three properties in Riviera Nayarit made it to the Top Five

Hotels in Mexico: Taheíma Wellness Resort & Spa, which was ranked 3rd; Villa La Estancia, 4th,

and St. Regis Punta Mita on 5th place. Four Seasons Punta Mita and Hotel Cinco also made it to

the listing of the Top 25 Best Hotels in Mexico.

TripAdvisor is the leading and most reliable website for travelers worldwide. Its marketing

strategy includes testimonials written by its consumers, and represents a factor that influences

positively on travel decisions. Over 40 million travelers have written reviews and opinions about

are positioning our destination as one of the best worldwide and are an indicator of how important

it is to improve the guests’ experience for hotels, restaurants, government officials, tourism service

providers and for the society in general.

EVENTOS NAUTICOS 

Durante el mes de marzo, justo antes de Tianguis Turístico 2012, Riviera Nayarit vivirá nuevamente una Extravaganza Náutica con la Regata Copa México Edición Olímpica, San Diego - Nuevo Vallarta Race, el Punta Sayulita Longboard & SUP Classic y la Regata Internacional Bahía de Banderas.

Un total de diez competencias internacionales relacionadas con los deportes acuáticos y la cultura marina tendrán lugar entre el 2 de Marzo y el 24 de Marzo en este destino, que busca posicionarse como el destino náutico por excelencia en el Pacífico Mexicano.

La Cruz de Huanacaxtle y su moderna e innovadora Marina Riviera Nayarit serán la sede de la mayor parte de estos eventos, mientras que el Vallarta Yacht Club de Nuevo Vallarta y las playas de Sayulita también verán una parte de la acción.

A nautical party for Bahía de Banderas. The Nautical Extravaganza will assemble 10 spectacular competitions in one month of competitions like never before.

During March, just before the Tianguis Turístico Mexico 2012, Riviera Nayarit will once again live a Nautical Extravaganza with the Regata Copa México Olympic edition, the San Diego to Nuevo Vallarta Race, the Punta Sayulita Longboard & SUP Classic and the International Banderas Bay Regatta.

A total of 10 international competitions related to water sports and marine culture will take place between March 2n and March 24th in our destination, which seeks to position itself as the quintessential nautical destination in the Mexican Pacific.

La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and its innovative and modern Marina Riviera Nayarit will play host to most of these events, while the Vallarta Yacht Club in Nuevo Vallarta and the beaches in Sayulita will also see part of the action.

The Nautical Extravaganza encompasses seven events under the umbrella of the Mexico Cup Regatta Olympic Edition, plus the 2012 editions of San Diego to Nuevo Vallarta Race, Banderas Bay International Regatta and the Punta Sayulita Longboard & Stand Up Paddle Classic.

COPA DE POLO TIANGUIS TURISTICO 2012

El Polo es sin lugar a dudas una de las actividades deportivas que más emocionan a los espectadores, la combinación entre el talento del jinete y del caballo para alcanzar un objetivo hacen un binomio espectacular y si a eso se suma el glamour que rodea este deporte el resultado es espectacular.

En Riviera Nayarit, el Campo La Patrona permite a nuestros visitantes vivir de cerca la experiencia de este Deporte de Reyes. Por eso, durante Tianguis Turístico México 2012 hemos preparado un torneo muy especial.

Cuatro equipos con algunos de los más avezados polistas competirán por la Copa de Polo San Pancho Edición Tianguis Turístico 2012, que se jugará en La Patrona entre el Sábado 24 y el Domingo 25 de marzo en partidos de 4 chuckers (tiempos) de 7 minutos cada uno.

Polo is without a doubt one of the most thrilling sports for viewers, as it combines the talent of the rider and its horse to reach a goal and make a spectacular pairing – and when we add the glamour of this game to the equation, the results are spectacular.

Four teams with some of the most experienced polo players will compete for the Tourism Tianguis Polo Cup 2012, which will be played at La Patrona on Saturday, March 24 and on Sunday, March 25 in matches with 4 chuckers of seven minutes each.

The first edition of the Restaurant Week Tianguis 2012 has been announced.

Created in 2005 by Vallarta Lifestyles, and following the trend of other dining destinations in the world, Restaurant Week presents the most renowned restaurants in the region.

This festival is held each year in the month of May, but in 2012 it will feature a preview created exclusively for participants of the Tianguis Turístico México 2012 so that all visitors can enjoy the gastronomic delights of our region.

During Restaurant Week, participating properties will offer innovative three-course menus with three different options. Prices are discounted by up to 50% (not including tips or beverages), which will make going out for dinner during the Tianguis Turísitco 2012 more fun and more affordable.

publicadas para los participantes de la edición 2012 del máximo evento de la industria
turística en México.
